B52
Working with Forest Enterprise, we cleared coppiced Sweet Chestnuts to carve out a space in the forest which is twice the size of a B52 Bomber. The terrible destructive power of this aircraft is well-known, and it has been at the forefront of most of the wars for over 40 years and is projected to be still in use in 2045. My idea was to subvert this aggression into something more positive. Light now falls on the forest floor encouraging biodiversity and regeneration.
